Designer to Watch : Alexander Wang Wang launched his first full collection of women’s wear in 2007.He was nominated for a 2008 Council of Fashion Designers of America in Women’s Wear and won a USD$200,000 prize as the CDFA/Vogue (magazine) Fashion Fund Award winner Wang is known for his edgy, somewhat masculine womenswear designs, and his fashion shows are renowned as being a highlight of New York Fashion Week. One would love his designs for being understated yet well tailored. Definitely a designer on my to-watch list! He also has a designer class office and shop interior, which reflects his tastes in designs straight up. Clean, sharp and detailed, and totally un-apologetic about it. All eyes on you Alexander Wang. Respect.

I had however, found what could help visualise what’s closest to the image I have in my head for a dream house, I would love to build and live in. Have you thought about yours yet? I like how the lines, in it’s simplicity, clashes the complexity of it’s environment, where nothing’s of a 90 degree precise line in nature. Out of all the trends and ever changing what’s in and what’s out. When it comes to me, I stick with Classics. Black and White, would be my choice of colours. It will be forever timeless. Interior of house. Designs by : Sotogrande House, by A-Cero Architects. Interiors would be simple, with little touches, and little textures highlighted along the way. Apart from that, everything else should pretty much feel muted. Like a Martin Margiela Home. Nothing should stand out more than the rest too much. It should tell a story of democracy, an ideal world, we never get. Here in this little home, everything will be fair. So that everything will be calm, and our souls be filled with serenity.
